[532] SMFRC= South Mayo Family Record Center - search for Mary Ann Parsons to Neil
M. Franklin (researcher, Paul Waldron, 19-May 1997) A record has been found
of the marriage of James Mooney and Winifred Parsons on 14th Feb 1846, in
Claremorris parish; the witnesses were William Parsons and Michael Parsons.
It seems probable that William, Michael and Winifred were siblings. Given
that Winifred's marriage took place in Claremorris, this is probably her home
parish, since marriage in 19th century Ireland invariably was bride's parish.
